Never had tablets with cellular before. Is the cellular part locked to Metro like a phone does, or is it unlocked?
Locked for 1 year.

Link seems broken. It is only for Metro customers or do T-Mobile postpay accounts qualify?
Link is for reference only.
Existing customer needs login account from dashboard to do "add tablet"

Got 1 Edge and 1 tablet.
Samsung A9 tablet is slow and screen is not as good as Edge. Pros is big screen.
Motorola Edge is much faster and screen is better, sound is also better.

just FYI, the $20 plan, if you use 35 GB of data...you'll be slowed down to useless 2g until your data resets on you monthly...it's not unlimited fast internet...or you can pay for more high speed data

I read online you hold volume down. There were some other instructions like tap the corners of the screen clockwise twice. But I think all you have to do is the volume down.

I have two Metro accounts/phones and only was able to order one tablet. And even with that one purchase, I got the contact us message so I had to call in to get that ordered. Every subsequent order attempt fails even with Metro reps trying to place the order for me. I see each $20 charge attempt and an immediate credit. Screaming deal for $20 but I gave up trying for more (after trying many times to buy a second tablet). With the cost of just some time, you might as well call in and see if the reps are able to place a second order for you; there's really nothing to lose.

Do this. Then install some apps and games. Then put in the sim. Watch everything disappear.
