I just bought the Husky 290 pc for $169 but then saw this and it has ratcheting wrenches which made me consider canceling and buying this but after researching replacement policies I kept the Husky due to ease with Home Depot vs mailing in tools

Any opinions either way? I'm having triple thoughts now.

I'd get the Gearwrench set. Husky is a good homeowner quality and Gearwrench is hobbyist/prosumer.

Also, the husky seems to have more allen/screwdriver bits so you're not really missing out.

Keep the Husky for that exact reason. If the tool breaks in the middle of a project (which is usually when it's going to break) it's a quick trip to Home Depot.

I own this set for a few years now and never had a single component fail me yet. My side gig is wrenching on cars so the set gets a fair amount of use.

Good for the home of throw in the back of the truck. This whole kit costs what one of my Snap Off ratchets cost. So I wouldn't mind losing anything out of this set out of the side of the road.
