I've been looking at trainers lately and it seems like decent ones run ~$400+, so I'm pretty skeptical here.

For myself, I ended up upgrading to a Zwift hub with subscription, which even with deals is a lot more money, but also super convenient and actually gets me on the bike much more often due to just how smooth and integrated it all is. I don't feel blocked by my equipment like I felt with this.

The $400+ ones are all ERG and connect to the biking apps for automatic control.
If you have $400 the JetBlack trainer is a fantastic deal
Edit: Nevermind, it's quick-release only. Most modern bikes are thru-axles these days.
