I went to my local costco and it was miserable. No promo, BOGO was on hold, no costco cash card on my plan. Couldnt help me even though I verified my plan was qualified. Went home, read this, called and added 2 lines with BOGO. It was $15 first line and 2nd one was free, but with autodebit, they reduced it to $10. Took 1 phone 16 pro and traded in a Galaxy S9 that I got on ebay for $100, and got $830 credit - $30 trade in and $800 in 24 montly credits. The phone was $1099 and $45.79 monthly so $12.46 monthly plus $10 for 2 lines. Plus one $75 costco card which should offset the monthly line charge until I can cancel. So its a reasonably good offer for a phone 16 pro 256GB for $500 (tax included, ebay trade in cost included - half off). |

My experience is that you have to send the tradein phone in usually
Would I be able to add a line ($20/month for 24 months) get a free line and trade in and purchase 2 iphone 16 pros and get 2 $1,000 credits? So essentially, I will pay ($20x24months paid line) + ($0x24months free line) = $480 and do 2 trade-ins to get 2 new phones with 2x$1,000 credit? Is it right?

i have 7 months left to pay for 2 phones on a business plan.
i guess i have to finish my 7 months to do any of these deals b/c if not, i will have to pay the 7 remaining months?
Here is T-mobile's official policy on EIPs / RDCs [t-mobile.com]. Note that it just says 1 RDC per EIP; nothing about # of EIPs per line.
With that said, whenever I talked to an employee, they always stated 1 EIP per line, and if I wanted another device, I would have to pay off the EIP first. So I just ordered online and the system stacked the EIPs fine on the same line. Not sure if employees are trained to say that, or if 1 was the old limit, but expect employees to tell you 1 EIP per line, but know the system allows for multiple. Ask on t-mobile subreddit if the same works for the business side.
either of the options works as confirmed by costco-tmob representative. They would still send the shipping package for trade-in even if you prefer tradein at store. Either ways, there are 30days to complete the trade-in.
I'll do it at store once I receive my devices which are scheduled to deliver today. 30days to complete the tradein either at tmob store or use the shipping label to ship the tradein device.

Pull your SOC code as mentioned by OP and see if your plan is eligible. When I spoke to customer care she shot me down too but when I insisted to verify, she had a word with her supervisor and confirmed my plan is eligible after which I visited costco to take advantage of $75rebate for new lines. Mine is a legacy SC plan with $10 per additional line.
