Question
Looking to do this at Costco to lower fees, is now a good time or should we wait?
The associate said it was a 50/50 chance that we would get credited for the prepaid lines moving over, is this true?
Thanks!!
Is this BOGO means you pay one device fee? And will you still able to do the trade in? Or did you just do trade in? Are you combining BOGO and trade in?
Combining BOGO and trade-in 13pro for $1000 credit.
If your plan is eligible, you can do BOGO and get two phones with two tradein devices
Had a similar issue and reported them to the BBB. Took about a week or two to fix an issue I had spent months calling them about.

Just traded 4 phones at Costco kiosk few days ago. You have to be in the Go5g plus or go5g next plan to get the trade in deals. I switched my Magenta Max plan to Go5g plus to get the deal. Switching from Magenta Max to go5gplus only cost me 10 $ extra per month- so definitely worth it for me.
Line 1 = your current tmobile phone number. Xxx-xxx-1234
Line 2 = new free iPhone line with new random number. Xxx-xxx-7890
After you've gotten the new iphone, you can port your current line (1234) to Google voice.
Wait a few days.
Then port your Google voice line (1234) back to tmobile, hut port over the existing line of 7890, replacing the new number with your old number.
I did this back in September. (my 7890 number was a free line I had for like 3 years but never used, meanwhile I was paying $30 for my main line, ported out. Ported back. Kept the credit. Saved $30 a month.)
As long as you aren't canceling a line, customer service will do whatever you ask. Cancelations go against their bonuses and metrics which is why they try so hard to get you to stay. They love these loop holes because you did the hard work for them lmao.

Wouldn't potting out a line to GV automatically cancel that line?
My baseline for a good monthly unlimited plan is $25. If you're paying $50-60 a month then you're basically breaking even.
It could make sense if you're on a family plan paying for multiple lines though and you get a much better per-line rate.
