I went to my local costco and it was miserable. No promo, BOGO was on hold, no costco cash card on my plan. Couldnt help me even though I verified my plan was qualified. Went home, read this, called and added 2 lines with BOGO. It was $15 first line and 2nd one was free, but with autodebit, they reduced it to $10. Took 1 phone 16 pro and traded in a Galaxy S9 that I got on ebay for $100, and got $830 credit - $30 trade in and $800 in 24 montly credits. The phone was $1099 and $45.79 monthly so $12.46 monthly plus $10 for 2 lines. Plus one $75 costco card which should offset the monthly line charge until I can cancel. So its a reasonably good offer for a phone 16 pro 256GB for $500 (tax included, ebay trade in cost included - half off). |

So you still pay one phone price, but eventually you got $2000 credit. Do they honor your grandfathered plan? And BTW, how much gift they offer you?
Actually I didn't get the reason why stack the two promotions together. So if you just use add new line + trade in. You basically pay nothing. For BOGO plus the add two new lines+trade in. You just prepaid one phone price toward your future bill. Am I right ?
I want to use the new iPhone on line 1, and port a flip phone my LO has onto line 4 with no phone on line 3.
Then, after 12 months, I will add data to line 3 (will I then be able to add data to line 4 for free too?), port out line 2 and port it back in to line 3 (resulting in 2 paid lines and a free line all with data)
Does this sound like it will work?

I'm in the same boat as you, One plan max @ 8 but I remember that we can ask t-mobile to increase it to 12 without plan change. This is what I'm doing now to see if it's possible so I can add 2 lines.
update-Tforce just told me I'm eligible for the current promo (iphone & bogo) & they will change my plan to 9‐line plan without losing any promo.

I want to add another line with BOGO so I will be having total 6 lines. I am not planning to use newly added lines for anything.
After 24 months, If I want to remove newly added lines, can I still keep my old free lines?
Why Verizon? AT&T plans seem cheaper.
It was smooth for me thrice in the past. Not sure if you followed the steps or sent them the correct phone back etc.
So you have a collections account with T-Mobile? Unfortunately they don't have an IOU plan so that 5 year old bill you apparently owe them is just floating around waiting for a convenient time for you to pay it.. throughout the time of you receiving bill credits, this never got resolved? It doesn't make sense, how can you get the credits in the first place without having trading something in?? What's amazing is you let it drag on for 5 years without getting any kind of resolution. T-Mobile can't be the only one to blame in this scenario… shoot if you let it drift on for another 2 years it might just vanish from credit.. might as well at this point though. You've let it hang for 5 what's a measly 2 more??
