I went to my local costco and it was miserable. No promo, BOGO was on hold, no costco cash card on my plan. Couldnt help me even though I verified my plan was qualified. Went home, read this, called and added 2 lines with BOGO. It was $15 first line and 2nd one was free, but with autodebit, they reduced it to $10. Took 1 phone 16 pro and traded in a Galaxy S9 that I got on ebay for $100, and got $830 credit - $30 trade in and $800 in 24 montly credits. The phone was $1099 and $45.79 monthly so $12.46 monthly plus $10 for 2 lines. Plus one $75 costco card which should offset the monthly line charge until I can cancel. So its a reasonably good offer for a phone 16 pro 256GB for $500 (tax included, ebay trade in cost included - half off). |

I want to use the new iPhone on line 1, and port a flip phone my LO has onto line 4 with no phone on line 3.
Then, after 12 months, I will add data to line 3 (will I then be able to add data to line 4 for free too?), port out line 2 and port it back in to line 3 (resulting in 2 paid lines and a free line all with data)
Does this sound like it will work?
So you can either keep you current plan of 2 lines, or start building a bigger plan that is cheaper per line by leveraging different BOGO promotions (4 lines with 3 lines paid, 6 lines with 4 lines paid, etc)
update-Tforce just told me I'm eligible for the current promo (iphone & bogo) & they will change my plan to 9‐line plan without losing any promo.

TForce had updated mine to ONE 9-lines plan, crossing my finger in hoping nothing change. Did you do this (add lines) online? Not sure if I want to do this at apple, costco, or at t-mobile store.

I want to add another line with BOGO so I will be having total 6 lines. I am not planning to use newly added lines for anything.
After 24 months, If I want to remove newly added lines, can I still keep my old free lines?
But if you are not going to use the BOGO lines 5 & 6, why even wait 2 years. T-mobile historically will move EIP and RDCs between lines [reddit.com], so you could move lines 5 & 6 EIP / RDC to line 1-4 then just cancel lines 5 & 6 early.
If you are going to do this, I recommend getting the specifics and double checking on the T-mobile subreddit. Get your plan SOC, your free line IDs, and asking if this idea will work for your SOC and free line IDs, and how long you should wait before transferring RDCs and cancelling.
I have 4 line + 1 free and 1 data. Can I add BOGO ?

I switched to 4 lines for $100 and on essentials plan. All new phones require contract and higher monthly plan.
Dont know if anyone knows $$ monthly increment to a plan that's eligible for this offer?
