Old computers use hard drive with magnetic storage, and old CRT monitors used electronics that were also affected by the magnets. But current day stuff, really isn't affected by magnets.

Sounds like user error. Literally says you need a magsafe case. And if you dont have a magsafe case it comes with a sticky magnet to attach to your case so it works.

I don't own this, but I do have car chargers and USB C cables from this brand. Good quality. Comparable to Anker. This seems like a good deal.

Anyone know if this would be strong enough to hold an ipad mini? I'm assuming it comes with magnetic stickers to put on the back of a device or case. Obviously it wouldn't charge as ipads don't have wireless charging. Just looking for something minimal and clean to mount my cellular ipad magnetically to my old carplay-less car for navigation and music
