I don't know why folks flagged this comment as unhelpful. These are hard to open. If you have limited strength, mobility & dexterity in your hands this is very useful information to know.

These are so hard to open.. watched a Tic-Tok vid for help but still hard too open easy..
and my daughters kat thinks their just ok.. but he does eat them (slowly)..

My kitty krew (6 cats & 2 dogs total in this very furry house) loves the Sheba food, but you are correct, it is horrendous to open. I have wound up wearing it on numerous occasions.

My cats love these as a treat, so I'm getting these because it's a legit reasonable price. However Mars Petcare raised the price nearly 100 percent from pre-pandemic pricing. I used to get this size package at my local discount grocer (the poultry and beef pate 48 serving variety pack) for about $14 any day of the week. Pure profiteering by corporations who know you only have so many options... Luckily my cats aren't picky, but are getting way more dry food to make up the difference.

It also varies. I don't have dexterity issues and these are unpredictably difficult to open at times. I stabbed one with a knife but worried I somehow added foil bits to the food. Grr. If someone's had an easy time, just wait LOL, bc some of these are impossible to open without a utensil. Even the ones that open easily often "burp" and splatter the food or gravy.

We have 1 family pet that gets these as a treat and won't let us skimp for too long. Previously, used these bc I only needed the small portion and it was reasonable to avoid waste or storing/reheating food, etc. But the packaging started getting worse and the 2 pieces didn't break apart, making both sides open at once. I've grown to loathe this product but haven't food a good substitute yet.

And the more gravy ones? Seems like sneaky shrinkflation.
