I have two, dropped them in coolant, left outside in MN winter, still work. Hook is a little weird but for the price and battery life it's fantastic. Wish the pivot was stronger but honestly not a big deal.

I got mine today and it's the 1000lm, 300lm model. But I don't see the 300lm mode being that much less than the 1000lm. Not sure why you would ever use the lower mode. Also it's built very nice. Has plenty of ventilation and a massive heatsink for the LEDs. Quality build.

I don't see this Type 12 anywhere on the box but I do see in multiple places it's marked 300-1000 lumens.

Thx. It probably is.

For reference, it'll say it on the tool itself. Where the hinge bends on the tool, one side says "Dewalt 20v Max" and the opposite side should say "DCL050 Worklight Type 12…"
