Back when I was in the electronic business in the mid 2000s.
Westinghouse TV performance was similar to mid-level Sony TVs. They used the same screens and parts. The Westinghouse didn't have all the "Bells & Whistles" or the Sony build quality but as far as picture quality it was 95% in par with mid-tier Sony TVs.
NOW... It's a different story.

Needed an inexpensive 55" for my father in law coming home in a hospice situation. It'll be used for a guest bedroom after he passes.

$183 out the door after target circle 5% off. Roku is probably the easiest to navigate OS for an elderly person so even better.

Thanks OP!

Thanks man. I'm in a dry spell. The free mounting really helped.

I've had one in my bedroom that I use very little, but it's going on 5 years though so there's that.

Got the 65' TV 2 years ago for $250 from Target. I am assuming it's the same model. Decent picture quality but sound is terrible. Not bad for the price!

Damn, that sucks to hear. I have one from black friday 2011 that is still going strong. Obviously not as nice as modern 4k, but with a Roku box it does it's job.
