I'm not worried about the delay in shipping but definitely don't want a scratched watch when it says excellent condition.
I can't buy a standalone plan to make it work for calling?
edit. I see what they did. They raised their prices to account for the coupon. They also have Galaxy 6 classic BT/5G for $127.5 after coupon. Same store and 1 year warranty.

A paired smart phone is required to set it up.
A paired smart phone is required for most apps that just treat the watch as a extension of the app on the phone.
But, I can leave my phone at home and still get and send sms, get and make phone calls, listen to podcasts, stream music, and pay via Samsung pay and Google wallet where stores accept non contact/tap to pay.

What watch plan do you use? I am looking for the cheapest as the usage is only for making calls and perhaps occasionally stream music, all via LTE.
I love my Amazfit because it gives over 3 weeks with my level of usage- perhaps even 4 weeks but i never had to check.
I have Amazfit currently and spoilt rotten with 25 days or so of battery life. The battery lasts so long that I have now activated the Always on setting, just because it looks cool to have the watch showing time constantly. Obviously it does not have LTE which is a battery hog.
Hence, my concern on the battery life. Based on your post I would be happy to order if it truly lasts even 5 days total.
