vipoutlet has the 4gb ram version refurb for $87. You are not using it for more than 5 chrome tabs anyway, why not get a significantly cheaper one? You can't go wrong with $87 for 9 years till end of life and OLED screen(60hz though). Youtube and netflix 1080p on 13.3" is perfectly fine.

I picked it up as well from the Ebay link.

Just need to find a guide to put in an 8GB ram chip....never would have thought its possible, but seen so many youtubers pull it off themselves (yes, I know, I lack the skills to do so).

No real need. If you play a game, close all tabs before. Try to keep Chrome Tabs to a minimum. Figure there may be at times a 15% slowness due to not having 8GB of RAM... but that is rare and 85% of max speed is still pretty decent.
I am a huge fan of Chromebooks.

Wanted to add... I hope you know "all" about Chromebooks... such as, if you want your paid streaming to be in Full HD, you need to watch it through your Chrome browser, not through the app itself. A lot of people complain that their screen seems to be grainy... lol.

does the vipoutlet version comes with a keyboard ? It was not clear to me that it would include a keyboard

I think it said no keyboard. But I am very excited to use this as a tablet. And the keyboard that comes with it "sucks".... if you are buying this for productivity, you would want a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and you might as well get a monitor and use it as a desktop.

Figure it will perform at 90% percent of your speed only when the memory is being taxed.... that is still fast when you compare what is out their for $300 or less. I don't know what you do with yours but I plan to use it as a media streamer and light gaming.
I can't believe you are complaining at $87 and those specs.... WOW, you have some nerve.
Besides a ipad, show me one tablet that is less then $300 that is faster then this $87 tablet.

odd, mine came with the keyboard but no kickstand. 0 battery usage but a nick in the back panel paint. also ChromeOS was version 105 so probably never really used
