Yeah, no one cares about the deal you got on the Dyson…you didn't need to say that.

Yup, that's it. For an extra $5 you get a 10ft hose attachment and 7 tools. Would recommend this over the Milwaukee.

Rigid has a set that also comes with a longer hose. My only gripe about these is the lack of a longer hose attachment.

Do I understand correctly the Ridgid connects to the Milwaukee? The short hose IS a pain at times.

Yes it does. I have the M12 vac and use it with the RIGID hose and nozzles regularly.

Yes, it does fit certain ones. I have this Rigid and it connects to the new M18 shopvac packout. With a longer hose, it feels like I am losing some suction power.

Just wanted to chime in and say I recently got this for my rigid vac and I wish I had done it ages ago. The hose is much nicer than the standard shop vac hose and the attachments all work well. If you auto detail I would highly recommend it.

Nice deal there too...just use it for the cars so I'm good with the Waukee ones 👍

Agreed with all the comments here on the ridgid accessory kit. HF sells a nearly exact copy under the Bauer brand too. You can see comparisons online showing they're 95% the same. The funny part of course is the red Bauer hose looks awesome on the Milwaukee vacuums 🤣

I have the M12 Fuel hooked up to the Ridgid kit and couldn't be happier.

Side note: if you have the time, you can sometimes find a used and returned Fuel vacuum (M12 or M18) on the shelf. Just look for the broken tape and then inspect the filter. If there's debris in there, the employees can deep discount the unit for you. Maybe it's just the low standards of my local store, but I've bought 2 vacuums this way and could have bought several more.

I had a Hart 2gal 20v wet/dry shop vac. While building my shed, the tarps would constantly tear and I would get pooling water on the inside (before I was able to get my roof put on). The Hart shop vac was an absolute trooper! The suction power was great and I had no issues with it, performance wise. Before using it primarily as a wet vac, I used it to clean up concrete dust, drywall dust, saw dust, debris, ... a multitude of different things and I never had an issue. I left it out in the rain and sadly, I wasn't able to repair it. I took it apart, tested all the continuity from point to point, plugged in a battery (disassembled), checked the voltages... everything DC was correct... I had no idea what it was, so I threw it away. I bought the Milwaukee M18 fuel packout shop vac. I am not impressed. I know it has a low and high suction setting but even on high it seems the Hart was better and had more suction and the Hart definitely had a longer hose. The milwaukee shop vac just sits on a shelf and I'll either go for my regular shop vac (electric) or I just wont suck anything up because I hate using it. The other Milwaukee tools I have, the framing nailer, M12 and M18 fuel tools (even the non-fuel... but not so much) are great... in fact, used an M12 fuel drill for most of my shed install with no issues. Just their darn packout shop vac I am disappointed with.

Ha, thanks for the tip! Going for the Bauer kit now simply b/c of the color. The orange + red would bother my OCD self.

"From $60." No one pays that. This is about what these things should cost. Does Milwaukee think they're Miele?

I wish I could find a shop vac with useful accessories that can all be stored on the vac. I have a 12 gallon vac master and a smaller vac master. Their accessories all suck.
