my PC game pass Trial mode will expire in 2 days. Does this work on only new subscriber or any status will work?
I just need more time to finish Indiana Jones and I rarely even play it. 3 months should be enough to beat the game for $20, instead of paying $50 - $70.
what is the 'rate' in dollars per month that people usually pay via one of the non-US/VPN tricks for extending an existing ultimate sub? I know the cards don't convert 1:1 from Core to ultimate of course, but is $6/month or so usually the best people can do for existing subs being extended, meaning this would let us bypass a lot of extra steps for another $2/month?
From what I see, this is not a trial card, so you should be able to buy and stack for all you asking. Not a bad deal at all coming to about $85 a year. Haven't used it for my pc yet but may need to get in for this price.
serious question do people actually play it much -- are there games worth playing? personally i can get into a loop of stacking deals but end up never using them....

If people don't play it's more likely due to a lack of time than lack of good games. I had GPU for 5-1/2 years using the Conversion Trick so I paid less than $4 per month, but I've been so busy with other things I barely played anything for the last year. With the rack rate now $20 and even converting still costing over $8, I can't justify letting a continuing subscription ride. I'll just nibble at my backlog over over 1000 games until/unless something really compelling comes along and I have time.
They say there are "over 100 games to choose from", but I once counted what was available due to the EA Play part of the GPU deal and there were something like 442 games. If you can't find something to play, then that's a you problem. Frankly, the fact that I was able to use Game Pass to discover Starfield was cold gray garbage made the fact I saved $60 on that worth the whole cost of Game Pass.
And with Ultimate's Cloud Play, you can just stream games to see if they're even to your taste without having to download 60-120GB of data. I sampled a game that way and within 20-30 minutes I knew it wasn't for me and didn't burn any data in the process. Other games I've checked out were good, so I installed them locally for better quality.
TL;DR: If you have time to play, it's a great deal. If you don't, it's like anything else you pay for and don't use whether it's Netflix or a gym membership.
