I had the free turbotax premier offer when I checked a few days ago, but this morning it turned into a 25% discount...

Anyone has the same thing happened to them?

EDIT: oops - was using the WRONG link.

The correct link is in the portfolio page, lower right corner... then the free offer shows up.

Weirdly I got a 25% offer at Fidelity, but upon clicking the offer, I got taken to this page at Fidelity: https://turbotax.intuit.com/affiliate/fidelity

Why dont you wait a few days (3?) and get it from Costco/Amazon? With the 25% off option which is what most people qualify for, the premier version is $78. You might get $20 off from Chase or Amex, or you might not, so the best possible price is $58 or likely price is $78. (Requirement for $20 off is to use affiliate link which negates the 25% off from Fidelity. So the $20 may or may not work).

With the Costco/Amazon deal coming up, it will be $68 from them, no hassle. Costco in addition, has a $10 credit from Turbotax, so if you use it, it will be $58, guaranteed, no hassle price.. The Costco price will start in a few days, so unless you need it now and cannot wait 3 days, it will be far easier and safer to get it from Costco,. Amazon usually price matches Costco at the sale date,

Offer is supposed to show up for me after the 20th, per turbo tax rep. He also said that I did qualify.

I understand the $5 download version of TurboTax allows you to install it on up to 5 computers. Does the $5 download version also allow up to 5 federal e-files? Based on the comment at the bottom of the offer it looks like the $0 online version may be limited to one filing.

You worked for Fidelity? Company is privately held. Not sure why the CEO needed rent-a-cops since the Company doesn't have to answer to shareholders. Perhaps there are others at the Company who still resented her battle with Ned to gain control of the CEO job.

The knowledge of the local Fidelity rep is just average. The Fidelity Active Trader program is good, but no one has stepped up to address an ongoing software issue for the last two years. I missed working with the guy that developed the ads supported QuoteTracker.

Deluxe also import those items. Unfortunately, auto import does not ensure maximum tax savings. For example, the interest earned by FDLXX or TLT is almost entirely excluded from state income tax, but one must manually input the tax exemption portion into the program.

I confirm as well, for TT Premier Federal + state Download for $73.50 (Fidelity 30% for me) and $20 back from Amex. Opened the Intuit window with the Amex link and also with the Fidelity link.
