These pixel prices are too high. Considering their depreciation values, they should be priced way below iPhones. iPhone prices have gotten too high as well. Especially the 16 is practically the same thing as the 15.

While Best Buy is offering $70 for a Pixel6a trade in, the google store has it for $225 if you want a Pixel9, plus I got an email for $100 pre-paid mastercard.
"Get a $100 prepaid Mastercard with qualifying Pixel 9 series phone purchase"
So for $362 I can upgrade to Pixel9 from a 6A. Not too bad.

true. there hasn't been much advancement with phones in a few years. my cheapo has a 50mp camera that looks nearly as good as the top dogs even. and everything else in terms of screen, software, quality etc is near identical. only things worth paying for is if you want one of the folding guys or some other niche features since i don't think there any good cheap alternatives

Got the hazel 128 GB P9PXL from best buy for $750 with new ATT acct. Will trade in in-store, get a new number/open account, and cancel the account when I get home.

They will still charge you activation fee and prorated plan. I had to chat for an hour get rid of $160.

Question: I have an old Pixel 3 XL. Best Buy will give me a $40 gift card for it. Does anybody know any other way to get something out of it? It's in great condition, but it needs a new battery (drains too fast - have to charge it like twice a day at least).
