I picked up the blue one from the Amazon deal about 10 days ago, right stick is angled so it has shorter throw to the left than the right, and the thing disconnects all the time from my USB Xbox receiver on my PC. However my 1537's and 1708's don't disconnect, solid as a rock. Now I like it and ordered the white one for the same price as this from Amazon and will return the blue one, I hope this one works as it should because I really like the feel. It seems these have fairly bad qc from the factory from what I've read. Also, why couldn't they use the black bottom instead of the white, looks a mess.

Sad to hear they haven't fixed the quality of these things. Being an Xbox gamer, they could have made so much money off me buying these things but oh well.

I recently got the red one and it's been working great as of now. I have been lightly using it but my son has been really taking it to town, only time will tell.

That'll tell him.. "Son, here's another controller. Keep murdering them and I'll continue to spend my hard earned money replacing them."

You might want to check your offers in your "my best buy" account. I have the free level account and I had an offer for a $15 bonus reward with purchase of $75 or more when purchased through the app.

I really wanted this controller but couldn't get past the bad QC. My buddy loves his and never had an issue. I hedged and got the Vader 3 pro instead and have been super impressed with it.

Buy the warranty. Take it from someone that has gone through 8 or so. These controllers are awesome while they are working. You have been warned 😎

Unfortunately, they are not compatible. I purchased a cheap set of third party paddles off Amazon that work fine.

Might not be your son, controllers are just made like garbage nowadays. I've got dozens and dozens of controllers covering pretty much every console going back to the original NES that work just fine, still using several Xbox 360 controllers on PC and even a launch Xbox One controller. Have had nothing but problems with XB controllers ever since the revision they did when the Xbox One S came out in 2016. The Elite 2 model is 5 years old at this point and is susceptible to all the same problems the standard controller is and then some. You're better off getting a standard controller on sale for $35-$40 and getting an extended warranty on it so you can exchange it when it breaks.
