Night and day difference with the feel and play between one and three star balls if using for ping pong. Not being a snob, but if you plan to use for ping pong, I'd really recommend three star.

These are cheap junk. No surprise it's a staff post, but be sure to get 3-star balls if you're looking to do more than just let your kids goof around.

The durability, bounce, and play difference between the 1 and 3 star is truly noticeable.

Just if you enjoy playing table tennis, don't waste money (regardless of the price) on 1 star balls.

I personally didn't know there were "tiers" in the table tennis balls. I'm just a casual player though, once in a while in the basement with the wife or kids. Thanks for the tip!
