One of my favorite shows. Already own this series, but are they ever going to provide at least an hd version? It seems like all the older shows and movies are getting upgraded.

One of the few series in history that didn't have a disappointing finale

One of my favorite shows. I know it is a different premise, but I think The Shield is so much better than The Wire.
Whoa now. The shield is great for sure but nothing comes close to The Wire. It's the greatest show ever made

Is this show good or love fbi version of house

I hate house fyi
Taste varies, but this show is better than House. This isn't network TV, case of the week, generic curmudgeon genius in some boomer loved profession (cop, lawyer, doctor) show. I mean yes, it's a cop show, but it's not really exactly like what you'd see on CBS, Fox, or NBC in 2005. There are story arcs and some real crazy moments in the show.

Again, you might not like it, but I wouldn't compare this to House. Even though one is a medical show, I kind of get what you're getting at.

I remember back when House was on TV I was watching a few of the episodes because I liked Hugh Laurie, and there seemed to be some plot regarding the main character. After a season, it became obvious they were wandering aimlessly and it was a run of the mill case of the week show disguised as smart because the main character is cynical...

House the medical show? The Shield is completely different. Great show, I'm almost to the end of season 3 in my first run-through, funny timing on this but I'll stick to sailing the seven seas.
If you've enjoyed it so far, you're not going to be disappointed by what's coming......

In an age where TVs are 50-85 inches, all SD shows should be priced at $1.

Excellent. Been waiting for a cheap digital version. Now I can rewatch on my train commute to work. 🙂👍🏻

Hopefully iTunes will upgrade this SD version, someday. 🤞🏻

I feel like iTunes would be the best one to upgrade your SD to HD if they do upgrade the quality. Vudu hardly ever gave you the upgrade unless you buy the newer version.
I don't want to buy SD if there's ever a chance there will be one in HD. I don't think Apple upgrades TV series when HD becomes available do they? I was almost positive that was only with movies.

They don't do automatic updates to HD for TV series do they?

Thanks for the heads up on this, $53 is a pretty good price. I'd much rather own the physical Blu-ray disks anyway.
I bought the full series of The Expanse on one of the streaming channels then bought the
Blu-ray set. Might as well just skip out the middle portion of this and go right for the DVDs.
Sho 'nuff, glad I could share that with a fan.
It's a really great looking box set (the packaging, I mean). The 1080P is nice, too.
