I had the same issue until I realized that by simply copying and pasting the number into the gift card box, the card number had spaces in it. I deleted all the spaces and the card worked on the website. I bet if you delete the spaces it will work on the app too. Be sure and delete the space at the end.

Offer says limit of $20 discount max per customer ?? - but when you order 2 cards they decline the order - when you order 1 it works no issue. Mad

OMG that was it! You're a lifesaver thanks!

It's a weird glitch though because it still recognizes it as a gift card and not a random set of numbers. I think I left a space on the end of one of the tries and it didn't recognize the number. So I thought the spaces were supposed to be in there.

All is good. I received the gift cards about 3 minutes after payment. Note that there will be three different emails. One acknowledging the order. One saying the order is fulfilled and finally one containing the link to the gift cards.

This is a great deal and a lot better than the giftcards.com deal.

I renewed my membership several times in the past using gift cards I had added to my account so it should work..

edit

correction they do not let you anymore only debit or Credit card and they want you to subscribe to auto renew

I also worked at AMC for fifteen years. There is nothing, I REPEAT, NOTHING wrong with the cooked food at AMC. It is absolutely delectable and worth probably double the price they sell it for. Not only that, but everyone knows AMC has the best popcorn on this planet.
