Love my chainsaw. Replace the bar with a thicker one. Oregon makes the OEM bar but their aftermarket bars fit and are thicker/less flimsy.

The chainsaw is awesome. The blower in the kit is the newer 500CFM model which is much more quiet and was on hackable deal in November: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../320379720

Dual battery brings in the weight factor.

Excellent Deal! This chainsaw is an absolute BEAST! Blower is great. Only downside is the Hd12 battery being so bad and failure prone. If this was with the forge 12ah i'd buy 4 sets in a heartbeat and sell the tools to bring down the battery cost.

don't buy this "deal". Get the dual battery version for these tools instead. These are both underwhelming tools in the Milwaukee lineup.

It's not worth the extra weight and having to keep two high-powered batteries charged at all times. I think that the single battery is more practical for homeowners.

Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Electric chainsaws are deceptive, they feel like toys, so you treat them like toys.

How does this chainsaw compare to the comparable DeWalt or other brands? I can't seem to find many direct comparisons.

great deal! I've been on the hunt for a rear handle M18 chainsaw, and they are rarely on sale. I don't really need the blower upgrade, or the 12 AH, but the value is too good to pass up. Hopefully I can sell my old blower to cover some of the cost.
