I've actually held off playing it all the way through because I wanted to wait for a better VR headset, something higher resolution and OLED (for those true blacks!)
So now I'm waiting for the Pimax Crystal Super to be released. That and the bhaptics haptic vest and sleeves and I'm in!
But for whatever reason both Quests I have bought on eBay showed to SNAD. One was just a pawn shop that sent the wrong headset (and wouldn't offer a sufficient discount for me to keep it). The second one was disgusting. Dirty and very stinky despite being described as lightly used. Seller was clearly a moron…tried to fight the return, called me an idiot and other insults, and then begged me to keep it for a $20 refund because he really needed the money…
Something about these things seems to attract deadbeat sellers.

HL:A is hands down THE BEST virtual reality game in existiance. The gap between Alyx and the 2nd best game is as large as the gap between the 2nd best VR game and the 1,000th best VR game. To the point where it almost ruined VR for me because everything else felt cheap and boring. I went from playing VR games several hours a week to maybe a few hours a month after I beat Alyx. It's that good.
