Apparently it's possible to increase brightness to 1000 nits with software, it was software limited to 600 for battery life. The apps are called Vivid or BetterDisplay

Local costco showed a bunch in stock in the app last night, but none this morning. Price matched to BB on the first try. Ended up using a $1200 gift card I received yesterday from a geek squad claim on our TV. Upgrading from a M1 Air 8gb/256gb.

Initially placed my order 2 days ago with easy price match first try. Of course got the email that they're not going to price match.

Today reiniated Best Buy chats and maybe my 10th one got them to create an invoice. Sadly losing out of 5% through PayPal but at least they can't undo the price match again

Coming from a pro mid-2015 I was surprised how little movement the keys have. Certainly better than their previous butterfly keyboard fiasco though.

Received Best Buy price match on 2nd try. Submitted sameday.costco.com link which was still showing available from local Costco. When I submitted the costco.com link, which shows out of stock, I got denied for price match. So if you can add it to instacart, share that link with BB agent instead of costco.com page.
