I have a bambu a1 coming with AMS (4 filament capacity) so this dryer can hold two only?
Also the dryer feeds filaments into the AMS? Thanks
OK, I know what you are asking.
It is possible but you have to add some tubing and get the filament out of the drier easier (you need 2 x driers) since AMS has 4 filament entries
The only issue I see is to make sure you can have a smooth roll/pull from Drier into AMS Lite puller mechanism
AMS Lite filament puller default position is lower than the Drier filament output I see in the pic. This means you'll end up pulling the filament sideways out of the driers and trying to pull it upwards from a lower position... awkward.
Solution I can think of that would definitely work
1. there are also hacks that removes the Puller assembly completely and you can mount them. RIGHT above the Driers. You can do that too. I'm not as handy but there are some prints out there that does this. I saw something on Makerworld for the A1 Mini.
2. MAKE SURE the Driers are a few 6 inches lower The more directly below it the better and use the AMS lite as is
This could just be leaving drier on a lower rack or floor.
Or you mount the AMS Lite on the wall (or top mount on the A1) and just make sure the drier is position in away that filament can be pulled up easily.
You might need to see pictures to know what I am talking about because I thought about doing this already too.
This is why I suggest you move the drier lower. I'm sure you can go fancy with some pulleys top and bottom etc but that's too much work for me.
My dryer has FRONT feeding hole and top feeding hole so it makes it easier for me to pull the filament right from the drier for my printers. Not sure if this unit has extra holes as I didn't see in the picture other than the holes on top of the unit

Yes, a Creality Space Pi dryer can work with an AMS Lite; you can connect the Space Pi to your AMS Lite to dry filaments before they are loaded into your 3D printer, although some users might recommend getting a larger Space Pi model if you plan to dry multiple spools at once.
Key points to remember:
Compatibility:
The Space Pi is designed to be compatible with various filament types and can be used with an AMS Lite to ensure your filament is properly dried before printing.
Spool capacity:
Depending on the size of your Space Pi, you may need to dry filament spools individually or in small batches if you are using an AMS Lite.
Functionality:
Once connected, the Space Pi will dry the filament on the AMS Lite before it is automatically loaded into your 3D printer.

So these dryers are only for people who want to use non-PLA?
