The first bike arrived damaged and unusable. They refused to honor their return policy, insisting that I either repair it myself (they sent me a link to a YouTube video wtf) or bring it to a mechanic at my own risk. Suffice to say, I opened a credit card dispute and am still fighting to retain my credit.
The second bike hadn't been shipped when the issues with the first began, so I requested a cancellation, which they confirmed. Then they shipped it anyway. I refused the delivery. It arrived at their facility 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received a refund. Another dispute was opened and I'm having to deal with that now.
Edit: just checked and the first dispute was finally resolved in my favor just this morning. Now on to the second dispute…
I ordered one of the Able bikes in the last deal. About three weeks went by between the time of the order and when I realized I hadn't received the bike. Meanwhile, they spammed the heck out of my email account with other "promotions". I emailed the general customer service email address demanding they provide me an update. No response. About another week goes by and I get a "your order shipped" email notification. Great! Fantastic! Except that a few hours after receiving that email, I got a retraction saying they had made a mistake and my order hadn't shipped.
I emailed them to demand cancellation of the order based on the long wait and my spidey senses telling me something was off. I actually got a response within a few hours that acknowledged my request and told me the order would be cancelled. Guess what? The next day, Mendham shipped the bike. Geez. When I got the shipment notification, I started checking the tracking and noticed it took them more than a day to actually ship the bike (they just issued tracking by creating a shipping label). In the interim, I again emailed them about cancellation and warned them not to ship. No response. The bike arrived and box and interior parts were beat to hell. I put in a dispute with my credit card company, who immediately issued a confirmation of successful dispute, a sign they know what Mendham is up to. I tried several more times to demand they take the bike back. They finally responded on the third email and asked for a huge list of items. I took the bike to a charity that fixes up bikes and gives to kids in need. I'll just rely on my CC underwriter.
Please save yourself from the same headaches and from having to write an equally painful testimonial on SD by just skipping this "deal". It's not a deal and if you research online, you find the bikes are junk anyways.

I emailed back explaining the situation and asking for a refund for the labor that was done before they discovered the damaged fork, explaining the hassle, and asking how they could "make this right."
A day or so later I got a response that they found a box of forks and I just received it today and took it to my bike shop. They said they sent me a "universal" sized one and that they need to cut it down a little and put in a starnut but that it's very doable. I was also told through email that mendham/kent would refund the initial $70 of labor which was done before they discovered the damaged fork.
tl;dr if you received a damaged fork, email them and they'll send a replacement for free, but it needs to be cut down a little to fit.
I just called Kent's support number regarding my misaligned fork. They also informed me they have replacement fork available. I emailed them couple of photos showing the fork problem. My claim is processing now and the rep said it should take a day or two. I'll report back how it goes.

I've run multiple full capacity tests (from completely full battery to low voltage cutoff). Here are the results:
1) 10.93 Ah
2) 11.16 Ah
3) 7.42 Ah (low temperature charge/discharge -yikes!)
4) 11.25 Ah
5) 11.27 Ah
So it looks like my battery is settling in around 11.25 Ah capacity out of a claimed 11.6 Ah. So a loss of -3% due to calendar aging. Acceptable.
Note that test #3 was done when the battery was being charged/discharged in a garage that averaged 35-40 degrees. All other tests were done at around 70 degrees. That really shows the performance hit that comes with operating Li-ion batteries in low temps.
In case anyone wants to know, the pack comes in about 41v hot off the charger and hits low voltage BMS cutoff around 30v. The LED status light goes blinks red around 33v and the pack has around 1.5-2 Ah left when it starts blinking red.
It also appears that once LVC is hit, the BMS will not turn back on until a charge from the charger triggers a release of the LVC status. Some batteries will come back to life for a bit if you let them rest for a while. I don't believe that to be the case with these.
All in all, pretty good outcomes. But I don't trust the dinky little charger as it gets extremely hot during a full charge so I'll will adapt a more robust charger and use it instead.

I asked them if the bike was rideable and they said yes, "but if it was one of our bikes that we sell" they would "submit a warranty for a replacement front wheel or at minimum have it documented for future if the rim does fail over a short period of time."
I emailed back Dan, from Kent Bikes (who's been great by the way), who told me he emailed the warehouse in S.C. about sending me a replacement wheel if they have it.
If anyone cares at this point, I'll keep you updated on how I make out.

Did they offer to pay for shop labor to do the swap or are they expecting you to do the work yourself?
I'm sure some folks will have the ability to do it themselves but maybe not everyone.
So, I contacted "my guy" again at Kent I think it said, and asked if they had a replacement front wheel or if he could at least offer me a limited warranty. He checked, but no dice on a spare, but offered me an additional $75 off and I also filled out the form which gives you $75 off if a bike shop assembles it and it looks like that will go through soon as well.
All in all, even though the bike arrived with a bad fork, Kent did make things right for me by shipping a well-packaged replacement fork as well as covering cost of installation labor at my LBS. Everything worked out in the end and I'm reasonably happy with the purchase.

The QC on these bikes is not good. The replacement wheel did not drop in fit compared to the original wheel. It was off a little so I had to reposition the caliper. Also I've noticed that the wheels are not centered in relation to the frame. The wheels are over to the left a centimeter or so.
All in all, I did get a middrive bike for about $500 which is great value. It actually rides pretty great. It was definitely not ready to ride on delivery. These should not have been sold as new. They should have been sold as open box at best or tinkering specials. I was pleasantly shocked by the customer service. They were very responsive. I was expecting the horror stories I read in the reviews. But I think the difference is that Kent is now the customer service and not Mendham.
So it took some work but in the end it worked out. Mendham, it's not a purchase it's a journey.
