Other than that I've used inKind several times now and have saved a fair bit of money by paying with them instead of cash/card. It's fairly easy to use as well. You get the check when you're done eating, type the order number from the check into the inKind app and everything should come right up on the app.
I went recently and paid for my meal with the app, left a cash tip on the table. When the waitress returned she said saw I had paid on her little tablet thing.
Like I said, as long as you have restaurants in your area that you actually like to eat at and you can use the gift cards naturally, it's fairly a no brainer decision.

There's no auto gratuity unless the restaurant requires it and that has nothing to do with InKind. I won't eat at restaurants that require auto gratuity.
I use InKind at least once a week but I am in Chicago where there are dozens of restaurants where it could be used. It may be less valuable if you live in a smaller market.
Additionally, I accrue 20% back often as a promo in the app to use next time.
Example, last night our bill was $185. I had accrued $70 in promo credit cashback in the InKind app to use, I had around $42 in my InKind wallet left from a previous use, and I put one of these gift cards into my account. So the bill was $185-70-42-100 = $27 credit left in my wallet for next time ... plus an additional $37 in promo credit for next dine. Total cost to me was $60 for the gift card and $25.20 (for the other $42 remaining from previous gift card) and a $45 tip on my credit card.(above the $185 bill)
In the app, they show how to use this app - they show a $100 bill, $50 welcome bonus and they ask to pay 100-50= $50 + $20 auto gratuity + $10 tip = $80

I only signed up for inKind bc of the monthly coupon, new to restaurant offers, and discounted gift cards. This sucks.
Last evening we dined at Neutral Ground and I paid with the app. I had a $34 cashback balance from previous dining, plus they had sent me a $25 off $50 email offer because I hadn't used the app in the last couple of months. That brought the $125 bill down to about $66 (which I paid for with the balance from these Costco gift cards, so I really paid about $40).
You do all that on the app when the check comes, so it's actually EASIER than paying with a credit card. The waiter doesn't have to do anything. You just tell them I paid with InKind. If the restaurant accepts InKind, the waiters know how it works.
It's also easy to split bills. I've had others pay their portion of the bill with credit cards and I've paid my portion with InKind.
All these stacked balances/offers can be confusing, but it's definitely a good deal if you are going to eat at these places anyway. Since these deal is back I think I'll buy a few more.

Without the bonus $50, you pay $60 for this card today. Add $20 in tip at the table. Now you've spent $70 out of pocket for $120 in value. Not counting cashback. That's a really good deal if (and only if) it fits into your normal dining pattern.
