Has anyone had issues with a plastic burning smell exhaust from the heat that comes out of the sides? I had to return mine. I am assuming all the mini-pc's are that way. The company told me to give it a several days of use on the device (it was brand new) and it should go away. I couldn't deal with it after 2 days so I sent it back. I love these little machines but can't deal with the exhaust generated from them. I never a problem with a Mac mini or small form factor, but they were not all plastic

It's pretty typical of any computer or laptop with an active fan. It's the adhesives from the internal wires and such but doesn't usually result in long-term issues. It's not as bad as the off-gassing that happens to the plastic parts inside your car cabin that creates the film of haze on the inside of your windows.

I have one of these with 64gb of RAM as a home server and it works very handily for hosting multiple game servers at a time with low power draw. Thinking about buying a second one of these for my home theatre setup.

Thank you! Exactly what I was hoping for. I am buying one for my elderly Mom. I tried it out before giving it to her and explained it was making feel sick sitting by it. She said it would bother her even more probably. I'm gonna order another one and give it a week
