Worth noting this light was updated a few years ago with brighter LEDs. Same model number and most sites use the old information but the lights are now High 1000 Lumens and low 300 Lumens brightness. They are great lights either way - just even better with the extra Lumen!

Quite a few complaints about that light 'bricking' DeWalt batteries. At the price of those batteries, I'm not willing to take a chance.

I ordered one of the OP's. Merry CHRISTMAS to Me.

Worth noting this light was updated a few years ago with brighter LEDs. Same model number and most sites use the old information but the lights are now High 1000 Lumens and low 300 Lumens brightness. They are great lights either way - just even better with the extra Lumen!

I can confirm the lumen rating. I ordered this from woot last week and it arrived recently. The box indeed lists the brightness at 300/1000 which is great for my uses.

Previously when a light deal was offered, a person suggested an alternative no name light.

Has 7600 lumen and also two USB ports as an added feature and is $26. Might be more light than needed but a good high output alternative to this DeWalt model.

Always got brand new items from woot listed as new. Ships by Amazon packaging too a lot of times. Ordered couple several days ago. And it is shipped already coming within the week!

The way I see it there is more for people that actually understand how this all works. Not everybody is capable of recognizing a good deal and I say that's good for the rest of us. Some people are easily fooled into narratives that fit their world view.
