Sorry to be a downer on this but I want to save someone from our experience and what we didn't know. Revel is terrible; we didn't know and ordered a pair from DSW. Then we gave Brooks another chance this year and glycerine or adrenaline are great! I bought a pair for me and my hubby. They are great for walking, hiking or running (size up 1/2 size for running). Our daughter did cross country this year and a running store in Phoenix fitted her with Brooks adrenaline and they were fantastic for her. She was having knee pain previously and once we got those it helped a lot. (She even placed for state with these and her hard work.) But no revels…not a good style of Brooks (hard, no support, not comfortable at all). Glycerine or adrenaline are the Brooks to buy (ghosts can also be good if you aren't very active with hiking, walking a lot).
