The new compact size allows the user to fit the tool into tighter spaces. The compact size offers a lightweight tool which maximizes productivity and reduces user fatigue on long workdays. These innovative electronic settings help the user complete jobs efficiently and without stress. This will be your new go-to tool for automotive use! The Kobalt impact wrench also features 3 speed/torque settings which can be easily selected using the electronic push button. shop tool review had another test hitting 1000ft-lbs. definitely above average 600ft-lbs mid torque
This is a great deal for a really strong torque wrench. Check out Torque Test Channels review of mid-level torques. This placed really well, and was best value at the time (when it was selling for149 or maybe even 199). At 99 this is a steal. I purchased this last month and will pick up this deal and "return" the other one to save 50.
It looks to be a good price, but is it strong enough torque? Also, so much cheaper than Dewalt too
Strong enough for just about anything on consumer cars. Probably not strong enough for commercial equipment but that's 3/4 - 1 in anvil territory anyways.

I just watched the review, it looks like Dewalt dcf891 is ranked one of the best. Quick google shows the bare total is at $147. Since I already have tons of Dewalt, too, I might just wait it out and hope the bare tool drops more.

Of course. If you're already in the DeWalt ecosystem, that makes sense. But nuts to nuts, the Ryobi vs this Kobalt, big blue is the right play.
Curious, this vs their XTR 24 volt. $99 vs $247. My goal is to be able to shoot any crank pulley bolts loose which has the highest torque of the whole engine.
