No, not the Ultra, just the same old Arc.

Seems like all Sonos is in sale except Ultra (which makes sense) and the Era 300.

The audio swap feature is very nice between the soundbar and headphones. Headphones fit very nicely and are great for movies.

Sonos rarely used to go on sale. Now there are sales every month. As a Sonos owner, my advice to most people just wanting a soundbar, pick up Sonos Beam and skip buying Arc. If instead you want more oomph or need to fill a bigger room and are willing to spend $600+, buy an inexpensive center/L/R setup with larger drivers, with the sub and surrounds being optional. Ditto Atmos overheads.

Most of the people I know love their Sonos stuff, but after 3 years of using mine and listening to similar Sonos setups at maybe a dozen other friend's homes, I think that as a complete home theater Sonos is severely overrated compared to my previous hi-fi systems.

Sonos ease of setup and general use is good, but the Arc specifically produces sound quality that is subpar versus spending similar money on larger drivers that move more air over longer wavelengths. DSP and multiple tiny speakers etc can only do so much. Don't get me wrong, the Sub, Five, Era 300 etc probably seem impressive to people for whom this is their most expensive stereo purchase. It's good kit so totally understandable that lots of people might feel this way. Same goes for most of their speaker lineup, it's quality stuff.

My big complaint is that your center channel is probably the most important speaker in a home theater, and Arc just does not deliver imo. This isn't just a Sonos problem, it's most of the newer, slim, soundbar-focused home theaters that have become popular over the past decade. The built-in speakers in our flatscreen TVs are so terrible due to physics, that ANY upgrade is huge, but there are levels to this and **for what you pay**, there are far superior options. Problem is, Arc is NOT slim, so it can block your view if on a flat surface with the TV. Meanwhile, the output is thin and not good at reproducing mid-bass through the ~500-600Hz range. Deeper male voices are not great even when the source material was mic'd and mixed well. Adding in the Sub and Era 100/300 help a bit, but can't really fix the problem and just end up blurring localization.

When 80 inch+ OLED TVs become more reasonably priced this year or in 2026, I'll move the current Sonos home theater to the bedroom or more likely just sell it, and replace our Primary TV home theater with something that sounds far superior for the same money or less.

That just came out at $1000. No way are they adding in $450 headphones and selling it all for $900. This is still a strong deal.

That said, Beam and Sub Mini, which can be had on sale for $700 at times, is the sweet spot for great sound and value with Sonos.

I bought a pair during Black Friday and they are really good. Comfortable and good sounding. Highly recommend
