You can turn it off by then canceling your membership. Your membership is still valid though your end date, it just won't auto renew.

I guess the upgrade saves you $2 difference between large and small popcorn. Otherwise doesn't seem to be worth much tbh.
I looked at it though as if I take advantage of the free birthday popcorn and go see couple of movies between now and 1/1/2027 then it will have paid for the membership.

I guess the upgrade saves you $2 difference between large and small popcorn. Otherwise doesn't seem to be worth much tbh.

The theatre closest to my house even waives the fees in their own app, with no membership involvement.
The investor connect stuff actually drops more useful stuff than stubs.

FYI- Membership price does go up Jan 1rst. Here's part of the email I received at the end of November.
"Membership Price Update: For the first time since 2016, we are increasing the price of the annual fee for your AMC Stubs Premiere membership. The new annual membership price will now be $17.99+tax beginning January 1, 2025. This adjustment helps us continue to provide the valuable benefits listed above. Currently your membership expires on September 30, 2025, however click here by December 31, 2024 to lock in an additional 12 months of Premiere benefits for only $15+tax. If you renew your membership on or after January 1, 2025, the cost will be $17.99+tax."
Will that being said, I am a trues SD and I'm gonna try to renew anyway and see what happens LOL
Update- Trying to renew through app and the final part where you press purchase is not working for me. Cart has my renewal but unable to complete transaction. I backed out of App and went back in and was able to purchase, BUT only 1 year renewal showing. Canceled renewal after purchase and,as other report, showing 2027.
