Here's another trick I used to save a few bucks on taxes: Go ahead and update your profile to a state that doesn't collect taxes (like Delaware or Oregon). Then, update your preferred theater to that city. When you renew or upgrade your membership, you won't see any tax. You can pay with your regular credit card, and you won't have to worry about the tax being added to your subscription! I hope this helps someone out there!

Seems to be the case with me as well. After checkout it said 2026. But on my amc profile, says 2027

Mine had expired last October so I had none other than an option to purchase a new membership. So I just made the purchase on the app and got 2 years of membership for the price of 1 at $15. Next renewal is January 1st of 2027.

It worked for me. I actually just upgraded to premiere and my renewal date is January 2027. Thanks for $15.99 its worth it.

I hadn't renewed for a couple years. Just renewed and got the 2 yrs with a new renewal date of 1/1/2027

... Nevermind. I just went back in to the app to cancel my automatic renewal and the end date is 2 years out.

I also renewed in the app and only got 1 year.

I logged out and back in on the app, with no change. I just checked now and it's showing 2027 instead of 2026, so it is now showing 2 years instead of 1 year. No idea what is going on, but it did end up showing 2 years when it originally showed 1 year.

I just did another year renewal and it instantly showed 2 years. No idea what was going on earlier.

Just showed one year until cancel, cancelling seems to push expiration on app to two years. Showed 2025 canceled with expiration renewal two years out. Purchased again to show one more year again, canceled and said expiration for end of 2028 for 30. Wasn't a paid subscriber before this.

Yes, it's showing 2 year out date when trying to cancel when in the profile it's just showing 1 year.
