I got an XFX 7900xt for $608 with tax but I had coupons. No one is getting these for $600 without that. Plus if the new AMD card is weaker than the 7900xt like the rumors say. Then the value will go up, if again the rumored price is $650 for the new card.

I agree though the rest of the deal is weak based on that CPU listed. You can get the 7800x3d bundle at microcenter for $650 with a good board and ram. You are at $1300 with the GPU. If you value shopped on the storage, psu and case. You could be right at this price but with better parts.
You could say that about any brand of computer. That's such irrelevant and useless info.
This is a nice PC! I will wait a few days before buying this PC, hopefully it goes down in price like the previous two deals.

A year ago, a co-worker of mine bought a computer of this brand for about $1000 at Costco and he said it would randomly reboot. He returned it within 30 days.

Okay? So, the tuf series card, which I currently have the 6800xt version of can overclock well. Or that particular card has the silicon lottery. What card is the 7900xt? Is it a reference model, etc... Also like I said before, you could just overclock the 7900xt and it would scale up its lead over the GRE.
Considering the leaked report that the new RX 9070 XT isn't much faster than the 7900 GRE stock and slower than a 9700 XT you could possibly be mistaken. I'm thinking that's why the supply of GRE's suddenly dried up. Who would want to buy the newer more expensive card if the cheaper old one performed damn near the same.

I am totally in agreement about the rumor and if true the value of the 7900xt will go up. If the next gen card is locked between the GRE and the 7900xt and comes in at $650 they will not sell many GPUs.

My conversation was about if a GRE that was overclocked was 2.5% slower than a 7900xt. Also, that a 7900xt could just also overclock and scale up its performance to keep its lead over the GRE.

We will have to wait to see what the real numbers are though. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

The 7900 gre has much more oc potential bc it is severely power limited at stock. It only has 4 less compute units compared to the 7900 xt(compared to 20 more than the 7800 xt) yet it uses nearly the same amount of power as the 7800 xt.

While the 7900 xt and xtx oc pretty well compared to Rdna 2 they still fall short compared to the gre oc potential.

Any chance that deal comes back ? 😅
General consensus is deal is not coming back. The price drop and future returns are both likely related to BSOD issues caused by HD requiring firmware update. Refurbs from returns will probably end up on vipoutlet.com at a higher price.

GRE availability is "gone". Would be unusual to find any stock "new" even with a prebuilt. YMMV

I know the GRE was in a good spot price to performance wise, what kind of deal should i be looking for at this point?

Unknown. If team red, maybe the 7900XT will come down in price (?). If you're a Linux user, a 7800XT is fine. Personally I'd avoid a 6800XT over the 7800XT (though they trade blows), because there are repair people that will swear that there is some sort of engineering flaw in the core. And, obviously, this all in the context of 1440p+ gaming.

I am looking for a 16GB memory module for my Gaming desktop. The current 16GB moduler I have is Golden Empire CL38-44-44 D5-5200. Where can I buy another 16GB module of this?

Are there any other modules that are compatible with this RAM, which I can add to this computer.

Appreciate people's response
