There's 10 tools to choose from, though I didn't check to confirm availability. Maybe that's your point?

Most of those tools were part of the $79 bundle deal. Give us the new Router or a Framing Nailer and I'd be in

I see that you have to ship both the battery and the item together or pick them up at the same store, but you can't return the battery afterwards? Not hackable?

So... I would select two different stores for pickup. This is a timing thing. When I get the alert the pickup for the free tool is ready, I quickly pick it up and have the app open with the order up. When I get the tool, I immediately cancel the batteries.

I haven't done this in a while since I really don't need anymore tools, but if I needed a dedicated scrubber, and just didn't throw a brush into an impact, I would test and confirm the above for you.

When I got the 2 items in store each one had a discounted price. So you're able to return each one individually if you'd like. But, the discount for each item varies depending on what you buy. For example, when I got the vacuum, the battery pack went to $73 and the vacuum went to $26.

But you can't hack that one. With the $99 deal, you can return the batteries and get the multi tool for $43 or so.

EDIT: Cant believe people would give thumbs down on hacking the $99 deal and would rather pay more with the $79 deal......

2 ways to do this with the $99 deal. You CANNOT do this with the $79 deal as it's sold as a bundle. The 2 items need to have 2 separate prices, which the $99 deal does.

1) Cancel 1 item within 30 or 45 minutes (can't remember which) after the order is placed and you can do that with the online chat.

2) Receive the items either in store or at home and go to the customer service and return the item you do not want.

I just did this same $99 deal last week and did the first option. Got the circular saw for $53 or so.

EDIT: Thumbs down? Really? I guess people dont like being able to hack the $99 deal and get tools for a lot cheaper than the retail price.
