Seems just ok if you're in need of batteries AND a charger. Otherwise pass...

$10/ahr is the general sale price, and batteries have been as low as $5/ahr.

These are $11.66/ahr.

If you were considering this battery bundle, you can get the same 2 batteries, charger and a jigsaw for $89.99. On sale for labor day weekend. I know the original post says $99, but price dropped $10 at home depot.

Am I correct that these chargers don't actually maintain the battery, and could damage it if left on for too long? I have some larger ones that I believe are designed to maintain when left connected.

A slightly better hack is here. You pay $41.49 for the starter kit.

And for those who don't like hacks, either one of these deals get you a tool (jigsaw or oscillating) for an additional $20. It's hard to argue with that!

Lithium batteries are not the same as lead. No need to keep them charged in storage.actually best storage condition is 50% charged if I remember correctly.
