I didn't know about PFAs in Arc'teryx. They function great. What about 10 year old Arc'teryx jackets - are they dangerous to continue using; or okay to use up, then replace with PFAs-free outerwear?

$350 for a tarp covered in PFAS. Arc'teryx is the worst offender for forever chemicals and their shitty build quality

The GORE‑TEX ePE membrane is light and thin, yet strong, and it's PFAS-free* with a reduced carbon footprint**. To form next-gen GORE‑TEX Products, the membrane is combined with carefully selected textiles including recycled, solution or undyed textiles***.

They tend to delaminate and the company just says thats what they do and do not fix them. Lifetime is just a word to them.

Usually I don't gatekeep premium brands but I thought this price was for an actual winter jacket on discount that I would be interested in. Disappointed it's actually a $500 MSRP rain jacket
