Just saw that Sam's Club has the Meta Ray-Ban Advanced Smart Glasses in store for $229. It's located in their Optical Department. I did confirm that they can put a prescription in if you have your own but they also do eye exams there.

The styles they have are:

Wayfarer
Skyler
Headliner

This is in person deal only and they don't have is listed on their website, at least that I could find.

Bought my wife a pair last year as a gift. Pretty cool, but pretty novelty.

Nice. That's what I needed to know because the price on the rayban website was absurd...

I believe they are out of network, so you will only get ~80 back via check, not worth it.

Yes that's true.. but if you look at the independent optometrist shops.. their lens prices are ridiculous. So it's been my experience that sams or costco out of network is better than in network (especially if you get anything other than the most basic lenses and frames).

also i think sams and costco can direct bill your vsp. no claim submission/refund check needed.

Prescription lens is free via vision plan. Frames are only up to certain amounts. This does not mean it's al free. Right?

Definitely not all free, but if you price out the same pair of glasses on the website for Ray-Ban you'll get into the $500 to $600 range out the door as I have not found a way for them to price in my vision insurance.

They do. I got contacts from them a month ago, using my insurance.

Sam's club executives mentioned that I've frame cover of $200 but lens aren't covered which will cost me $200. WTF!!

Costco mentioned they have my insurance coverage for both (have to pay ~$40. for lenses) but meta can't be considered under insurance plan as they aren't selling them as RX/prescription. Meh!!

Yes. I'm here right now using VSP and I got a pair of wayfarers using my insurance.
