Ya, I think lowest new has been in the $343 range from best buy sales! Great price, though this doesn't add a ton of base. I put one in my bedroom and appreciate it, but it wasn't a game changer.

Will this work with Spotify connect without other Sonos speakers? My understanding is airplay needs another Sonos speaker to work with the sub but how about Spotify connect?

The sub mini is really disappointing imo. Even after trueplay calibration, the bass on the Beam is so overpowering that I have to lower it to -5 to even be able to feel the bass on the sub mini.

Unless SONOS fixes their app issues, I will never buy another piece of their equipment.

I've heard people saying it's a bad app but can you explain why? All I have is a Sonos connect for outdoor speakers but have been interested in bringing Sonos inside the house.

Symfonisk (gen 2) from IKEA are Airplay 2 enabled, the most affordable option. A single Symfonisk should make an entire Sonos system capable of Airplay 2.

I need Spotify connect instead of Apple airplay 2. Will I need a second Sonos to make Spotify connect work or will this sub work without a second speaker for Spotify connect
