I agree this is not the slickest of deals, but a family member needed a new touchscreen laptop soon. I could have saved some money on a meteor lake laptop but I think spending a little more to get significant battery life boost is ultimately worth it. We were getting about 6-8 hours from the Zenbook 14 3k oled from Costco, so if this can get better than 10-12 hours, I think it is worth it. We will be comparing them. This one is a little thinner, lighter, and has slightly better build quality (although I didn't have issues with build quality of the Costco one either).
