CVS is charging the outrageous price of $14.99 for Tide this week. My local grocery store has it for $9.99 after the $3 dq. If I only have one dq, I'm going to the store with the lowest price. Most people don't do the EB deal because you have to buy the Tide pods and Downy beads to go with it and they just want to get the detergent. CVS is going to have to be competitive with their prices otherwise they'll lose business to the other Coupon24 stores.
CVS still isn't gonna get competitive and lower their prices. CVS logic/justification will say that you can buy 2, use $3 dq and $3 C24 dq = $23.98 - $10 EB = $13.98/2 or $6.99 each which is cheaper. Even with one dq, $26.98 - $10 EB = $16.98 or $8.49 each, which they will still say is the better value.

Dq's will go away after CVS transitions to Coupon24. That's my opinion at least. It would be really nice if CVS would let us all know what's going on. It's crazy that they're making a huge change and not telling the store staff and customers anything about it. I mean, what company does this? A company run by idiots that deserves to go bankrupt.

I agree with you on the not informing staff. I was explaining it to one of the ladies that works there. They haven't really told them anything. They will claim that it is because it was a soft launch and that they had planned to go into detail at a later date.

I remember a time when CVS would send out memo's and tell the staff how to respond to questions. Isn't a change to Couon24 worth a memo? Would a nuclear bomb be worth a memo?

The notices come to the store management via web updates. I don't know for sure if they actually got anything on this yet or not, but there have been many times in the past where I've seen a copy of the information days before my friend who is the Ops Manager. In fact, there's been many times when she would never have seen a store memo if it wasn't for me sharing a screenshot of them.

It's not right, but store managers (and those they put in charge of monitoring the web updates) are too busy trying to cover basic tasks (opening & closing the stores, registers, accepting truck). The staffing guidelines corporate have set for stores is an embarrassment.

And in-store pick-ups sure haven't helped the situation. I got some great Christmas clearance today - Star Wars bobble heads at 90% off!! Since I'm in Los Angeles, I would've loved some Dodgers bobble heads but I'm sure that they would've sold out before they ever got to clearance. I'm surprised that the Star Wars ones didn't sell out. They had Darth Vader and C3PO and even though I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, I was excited to get them. They also had Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. The Wonder Woman one was really cool but they only had one left. They were $14.95 marked down to $1.49. It's incredibly windy here in the fire capital of the world. I'd say 40 mph with some stronger gusts. It wasn't fun doing my 4 mile walk to CVS today. It felt more like 8 miles since the wind was blowing against me the whole way there.
