The difference is not worth the hassle of a return and paying $367 more.

A lot people here have bought from them. I believe they use authorized resellers to fulfill the orders placed on their website. I myself haven't bought anything from them though

Just going to pop in and say that I've only had positive experiences with Greentoe in the past. Bought my 77" LC C1 from them before and unfortunately it was for way more than this D: Great delivery process and have had no issues the whole time. Wish that I could upgrade to the C4 Big Grin
That was right after Covid and prices were inflated also OLED production has become cheaper so I have noticed bigger sales and discounts on the C2 and up models compared to the C1.

Unfortunately, my TV blew out a few days ago, so I am at the mercy of Slickdeals luck of the day.
Have you considered getting the Best Buy plus for 49.99 that gives you 60 day return window so you could get a price match or just return it and buy something else from somewhere else if needed and close to the Super Bowl deals coming up. I use the Best Buy plan to basically try out anything for 60 days and give me room to always get the best deals.

Uh yes I know that. Just lamenting the fact, that's all. All I was saying is that Greentoe is a legit company and that I've had a positive experience with them in the past.

LG c3 c4 pretty similar, c3 was $1500 at BB. Wouldn't buy from this unknown place. I had a bad tv (speakers didn't work) come from best best last week and it was easily exchanged at the store.
I can confirm that they are not an unknown place. Greentoe deals with authorized dealers. The dealer for this C4 has deals posted by users on this same site. They dealer sent me the tracking information and the invoice directly to my email. I would heavily advise to take advantage of GreenToe.

greentoe is garbage. my offer was accepted, but inexplicably delayed. they later said the vendor wants confirmation of my identity, which i provided. now the status shows expired. once an offer is accepted, legally they are bound to perform. i've followed up but their phone line doesn't answer and they are unresponsive by email.

That's unfortunate. FWIW, they have replied to me everytime I have sent them an email. Within 24-48 hours each time.

TV received and works great!

I have to say that I am a little disappointed in myself for not researching OLED a bit more. However, our TV died, I was sick, and we needed a solution, so I just went to slickdeals looking for a deal on a highly rated TV to replace our six year old cheap 75" TCL LED.

We watch TV with quite a lot of ambient and a little overhead lighting. My wife just hates watching TV in the dark. OLED Dolby Vision/HDR is not really viewed best in this situation, and I found that I basically have to watch in the super cranked up "Vivid" mode or switch my Roku Ultra to regular 4K SDR. Both of these options might as well have me using a cheaper mini-LED/QLED Hisense (even when not a slickdeal).

For example, Roku Ultra has a single setting to pick Dolby Vision, HDR, or SDR. So, Hulu comes in with Frasier using Dolby Vision settings which just mutes all the colors making it look like crap. I have to switch the entire Roku to SDR output which means nobody will ever remember to be on the right setting.I just want to turn on the TV and watch stuff not having to fiddle with settings every time I watch a different show/movie.

So, I basically overpaid for something I'll never really use because my wife will never let us watch TV/movies with the lights off.

But man, with the lights all out and using some recommended settings, really chef's kiss on the image quality and the rich blacks. My TCL would always flicker and have a muted "gray" look with blacks.

So, the disadvantage with the Slickdeal is that I'd have a massive restocking fee to send back, which is fair since it's my own fault.

My experience…..

Delivery was marginally slow, 9 days from ship notice. It was delivered within the window promised by the delivery company. The packaging was pristine. They waited patiently while I unpacked it to inspect for any damage.

The unit was for the US market and was brand new.

I'm very happy with the purchase process and price and would definitely consider Greentoe in the future.

Was able to get a unit from them also and on its way now. Sadly stuck in Atlanta GA with a snow delay right now...Did you wall mount or stand? Curious if you have on stand if you would know how far in from edges and from bottom the mounting bracket holes are for wall mount? Trying to see if I have to move my wall mount up from previous 65" Sony model..

What's everyone's thoughts on the 77" C4 from Greentoe for $1,800? I'm not charged tax in my state either. I'm sure others will match this price but I'll pay sales tax. Hmm.

I think the absolute lowest you may see the C4 is $1499 and even that is just a "maybe" -- Depends it saving those $300 is worth waiting to possibly buy the tv at that price in maybe 6 months or so.
