Can you share where you've read those stories? While I haven't read every comment, I don't see that type of feedback on any of the recent Frontpage deals from Fasteners Inc. Is it on another website?

I just ordered from this store a few weeks ago, no issues. They aren't Amazon speed wise but I have my order with everything in it.

I think people have wording incorrect, I never heard of powerpack batteries myself, but it seems there's a confusion with powerstack.

POWERPACK (this one) uses tabless 21700 lithium-ion cylindrical cells. These are the same cells used in the high output batteries (DCB230, DCB240, DCB206, DCB208, DCB210, DCB609, DCB612) but with a tabless design to permit higher current draw. The POWERSTACK are a different technology. They use lithium-ion pouches which also permit high current draws. Based upon the way these two technologies have been adopted and priced, it would seem that the manufacturers can produce the tabless packs for less than the pouches.
