If you're playing solo it's understandable. If you're giving yourself an advantage over others in multiplayer and trying to bypass checks, you have to wonder what constitutes cheating.

Wouldn't recommend. These software overlays add input delay. Also they usually cover up bloom which gives you a disadvantage

I've never had a crosshair overlay trigger anti-cheat, I even have a built in monitor one.
It doesn't actually change anything in the game, it's just an image overlay at the end of the day.

This is software-based, and a kernel-level anti-cheat can absolutely detect it, so up to you if it's worth risking a ban. They can't detect tape or a built-in monitor one of course.
