I have two of these. Both of them like to randomly not turn on from time to time. Need to unplug and wait a few minutes (presumably for the capacitor charge to dissipate) in order to get them to wake up. Reading around online, it seems this is a common problem that's been known to Garmin for years.

I'm a HUGE fan of Garmin products generally, but this isn't one worth buying at any price.

EDIT: Unsure if this is allowed but I've added a link below to a Reddit discussion from a couple years ago on this topic. One user alleges Garmin specifically said the issue was "fixed" in a prior firmware update. On my units, the issue persists with the latest firmware.

I have 3 of them and have never seen that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
