I witnessed accidents and my camera was too blurry to make out the license plate ( at night time) but my mic was on and and I read out the lic plate no and gave it to police.
Viofo A119 V2 is what I have. ( using for 3 plus years )
Viofo A119 V3 is cheaper than this garmin deal.
I would say video quality is more important than size. Viofo dashcam is size of cigarette box. Not too big.
If I have to get one today It would be dual dashcam covering front and back.
