Summary:
You can buy Turbotax using the Fidelity link (you don't need to be a customer!), select the desktop software (instructions are in the thread) for $52.50 (Deluxe plus State), and I have a Chase $20 cashback bringing this to $32.50.
Instructions:
- Check your credit company for cashback (Chase is your best bet), activate this and use this credit card for checkout
- Go here[fidelity.com], and click on the 'Visit Turbotax' link
- When you land on the TurboTax landing page - from the Fidelity affiliate link - click "Do it yourself" at the top and then select "Doing taxes with Desktop software." You will then come to a page with the products and their strikethrough pricing options, which will include the Fidelity discount.
- Purchase the product using the credit card with the cashback discount. My cashback is $20, but I'm seeing $5 on some of my other credit cards, so YMMV. I used my Amazon Prime credit card (with the $20 cashback) for the additional 2% cashback.
Bank of America also has cashback but states 'Must use Link'. Hopefully it will work out for you. I'm waiting on Sam's & Costco's sale and possibly Amazon's deal on 1/18.
"Offer expires 4/16/25. Offer valid one time only. Payment must be made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on TurboTax products purchased through other retailers. Offer not valid on third-party services. Payment must be made on or before offer expiration date. *Must make purchase from turbotax.com/affiliate/chase42."
The * indicates for the additional 10% off you can get if you use the affiliate link. I don't believe it must be used to take advantage of the $20 off.

Chase cash back works fine when purchasing through Fidelity. I had no issues. The special URL is only for the 10% from Chase which is less than Fidelity so don't worry about it.

OK, so this is still barely a deal, at least for Home & Business. The 25% off price on TT is $90. A $20 Chase Ink cash back brings it down to $70 but no State credit unless I go with automatic renewal which includes State E-file for $20 ($5 savings). Costco has TT H&B for $95 + $10 filing credit. Amazon deal was $86.99 + $10 gift card.

I did not but judging a few posts above - sombebody did.
So, basically, if you can combine Fidelity 25% off and $20 cashback (and so far there is only one post above that confirmed it), that would be the best deal unless Cosctco came up with the better one on January 18

Yes I see the TT 25% from Fidelity with Chase $20 off appears to be the best deal. I also have a Chase $30 offer on another card but needs to be $100 min purchase and the $20 only requires $39 purchase.
What is the potential Costco Jan 18 deal you speak of?

Repped! If you're in NY and have the $20 Chase offer you're getting Desktop Deluxe for $32.50, which includes one state download and zero cost e-filing. Show me a better deal.
Of course, the additional cost for e-filing in other states makes it compelling to seek another deal.

It's Chase AND Citi card offers for me, and yes $20 cash back either way.
