All the cameras are deep clearance as well. Just ordered a camera, wiring kit, and backup mirror/camera for $30.07 total. Not bad for a complete cheap setup for an older vehicle.

All available items as far as I can tell.

I think a cheap cam would've picked up both of those instances.

Chrome is now autoclosing tabs that result in "This stie can't be reached" on networks running PiHole. Fun. Thanks, SD.

It's the affiliate link the OPs are using, nothing to do with the site itself. Go to pihole admin and temporarily disable blocking, or add your device to an exempt list!

The vast majority of dash cams still use micro-USB

"Adblock" on Chrome is also doing the same thing. Had to temporary disable. It happens.

No, not really - most dash cams sold until recently used mini-USB, and some current ones still do.

Thanks grabbed 2 for local pickup. Assuming I can use a Mini USB to USB-C adapter if needed in the future.

I would not go cheap on this, old or new car.
Dash cams are not to catch funny videos. It's your insurance.
When you had an accident, it may (and usually does) come to your word against his and having video confirming your story can save you 100s if not 1000s on insurance. So you want absolutely reliable camera and you know you have video clip if something happens.
Two personal cases:
1) Lady backed up in the parking lot. Clear damage to my front and her rear. She had the audacity to call insurance and claim that I rear-ended her car. Upload of one file solved this problem.
2) I was going straight, dude was turning left. By the time cops came, traffic light changed several times. The only way to prove that I had green was to have video.
