I bought this! It has excellent articulation and I'm just surprised at the detail and value you are getting for this pack. Even the controllers in the IG-12 where Grogu goes can be articulated. It won't stand by itself without a display stand with pegs for the legs or something else. But fun articulation. Even the driodsmiths have decent sway.

The figure doesn't work without Grogu, its basically just a mech suit for him.

What's goofy about it is that it has nothing to do with any "kind of fandom." Part of the philosophy of the series has always been to include characters that appeal to kids. We went from R2 in the first, to Yoda in the second, to Ewoks in the third, and then we got Jar-Jar, and you can just keep going. You can pretend the Droids and Ewoks cartoons don't exist, but they totally do. Things that appeal to kids, but that anyone can love (I mean, other than Jar-Jar...), have always been part of the brand.

And the fans who think they're edgy and grown-up object to the elements that target kids every time something new is released with a kid-friendly element, forgetting that they were kids who loved these movies and the part of them that loves these movies is STILL A KID.

Anyway, in for 1. It can hang out on my desk with the orange-snake Yoda my dad's students gave him, back around 1983, that lived on his desk until he passed.

Couldn't agree more. Listen, we all love SW because we fell in love when we were kids. I think these old guys (I'm old too) forget that SW is written for creativity, imagination and fun.

Case & point, I dislike Skeleton Crew for me as an adult, but I get over it because it's a kids show and my kids LOVE IT... so guess what, I LOVE IT.
